Pamela Nadeau has her Masters Degree of Science in psychology, specializing in social development. She has worked as Senior Policy Advisor, and Strategic Planner for over 30 years. Her first freelance article was about communicating with dolphins, those attractive angels of the sea. She collaborated with her father, Dr. James Easterbrook in his 1976 book, The Determinants of Free Will. Besides writing, her passions include channelling, astrology and stained-glass craftwork. She presently lives with her husband Jacques, in Fredericton, N.B., Canada. Her Passion: Channelling: gateway to "the Sisterhood"At about the time I was seeking out astrological truths in the esoteric aisles of the local library, a small volume caught my attention. It was unrelated to astrology and it's title was "How to Channel your Higher Self". It was written by a lady with a PhD in psychology, which comforted me. Even so, I cast nervously about me in case of witnesses (I do live in a small town, and this was thirteen years ago!), then picked up the book, scanned it, and immediately checked it out along with the rest of the afternoon's treasures. That was the summer of 1989. I had no idea why this book should appeal me, I had only marginally known about the Higher Self, but I was propelled to it. In fact I could hardly wait to get it home before devouring its messages. I followed all of its counsel and stumbled about rather ineffectually for a few months until one of life's coincidences brought me face to face with one of my many mentors. Coming in the form of my childrens'piano teacher, she coincidentally read the same books as I did and as the safety of our conversations grew she confessed to me one day that she channeled already. She encouraged me to persist with my efforts. I did succeed, and on April 20, 1991 I received my first message from my guides. I also received a lot of physical attunements, which felt like invisible hands giving me gentle spinal and neck manipulations. These persisted for years, and it was not until I read an account of another channeller some time later that I understood what they were: necessary attunements, or alignments to prepare my body for bringing in the awesome energies of channeling. I channeled quietly for myself, my family and very close friends for the following 7 years, not daring to confess this secret to others, fearing somehow that I would be nabbed and taken away in a padded jersey! This didn't happen though, instead I was in for an even greater gift. During what I thought was a routine Reiki Level 2 attunement in the fall of 1997, an entity came into my life, and caused me to begin channelling verbally, for the purposes of writing a book. Until that point all my channelling had been through writing, or typing the counsel of my guides or the guides of others. But this entity, Princess Hatshupset, approximate age of 5000 years, caused me to lie down, get into a medium trance and to allow her to speak into me. Luckily she did not enter me, as that would not have been too welcome, she would speak to me as in a conversation, using my voice, vocabulary and emotions to answer questions that I and a friend conjured for her. After ten intense months of channelling and recording her messages I pulled together the book she had engaged me to create. It took me four years to get it published, working through successive bouts of channeller's doubt, or just cold fear of "exposure". Finally, in June 2002 Reaching Out: A Manual for Healing Hearts was published. The Princess had always insisted that the book was a call to service, a means by which the many thousands of kind, loving people out there working alone to heal hearts, could come together, knowing they are not alone. She insisted that these people were part of a Sisterhood of Ancient Egypt - 5000 years ago in fact - and that now is the time to revive this Sisterhood of Healing Hearts. With the imminent publication of Reaching Out at last guaranteed, I realized that a one-two punch was needed. The first punch is the awakening. It is delivered through Reaching Out, reminding people of the past existence of the Sisterhood, its purposes, its deeds and the very real need for healing of hearts in today's world. It melts and heals the hearts of those who read it and feel a strong resonance with the message. It struck me that the second punch must therefore be the creation of the gathering place. One would think that the Internet was made for such an ambition, for Princess Hatshupset did not see the modern Sisterhood as being a physical place, but rather a gathering place, a concept. What better gathering place in today's world than a website, dedicated to the Princess and her old friends. A place to come and share in the ancient wisdoms. Welcome to Princess Hatshupset's gathering place. A place for the revival of the Sisterhood. email any comments/suggestions to:: webmaster |
